Hey there! I’m so excited to talk to you about Sari, one of my favorite yoga practices! Sari, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a type of guided meditation that helps you deeply relax and enter a state of conscious deep sleep.

Basically, you lie down on your back, close your eyes, and listen to a recording or a live teacher who guides you through a series of breathing techniques and visualizations. The idea is to stay awake and aware while your body completely relaxes.

It might sound like a snooze-fest, but trust me, it’s anything but boring! Sari is an amazing way to de-stress, reduce anxiety, and improve your sleep quality. Plus, it’s super accessible—you don’t need any special equipment or clothing, and you can do it just about anywhere.

So if you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, give Sari a try! It’s like taking a nap, but way better for you. And who doesn’t love a good nap?

More information

Sari is a Sanskrit word that means “sleep of the yogis.” And let me tell you, it’s some of the best sleep you’ll ever get!

The practice of Sari involves several stages, each designed to help you relax and reach a deeper state of consciousness. The first stage is typically some light stretching or gentle movement to help release any tension in your body.

After that, you’ll lie down and start to focus on your breathing. The teacher will guide you through different breathing techniques that are intended to calm your mind and slow down your heart rate. It might feel a little weird at first, but trust me, it’s worth it!

Once you’re nice and relaxed, the teacher will start to guide you through some visualizations. This is where things get really interesting! You might be asked to picture yourself floating in a cloud or walking through a peaceful forest. The idea is to give your mind something to focus on so that you can stay present and aware.

As you move deeper into the practice, you’ll start to feel a sense of profound relaxation. Your body will feel heavy and warm, and your mind will become quiet and still. This is the state of conscious deep sleep, where you’re fully aware of your surroundings but deeply relaxed at the same time.

When the practice is over, you’ll feel like you just woke up from the best nap of your life. You’ll feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world. And the best part? You didn’t have to do anything except lie there and breathe!

So if you’re looking for a way to relax, reduce stress, and improve your sleep quality, I highly recommend giving Sari a try. It’s a little bit weird, but trust me—it works!
